Pinkbike Poll: What Made You Stop Caring About Enduro?
"World Cup enduro is a French local series now with riders I've mostly never heard of." Funny, this is pretty how it was perceived at the beginning

Father & Toddler Airlifted from 10,000 Feet After Tahoe Snow Blocks Trail
We also don't know your full story, maybe you're also a bit dumb and irresponsible ? Or maybe you are responsible and took care that you were staying well within your limits and to ensure that you were not endangering the life of your daughter. I went on plenty of long rides with my daughter in the singletrailer, but always stuck to fireroad, and "wide" single trail that weren't technical (+ always had clothes and water/food and stuff in the trailer). The goal of parenting kinda is to keep the little thing alive and well, not to freeze it, drop it and to traumatize it.

Bike Republic Sölden Expands for 2026 with New Lines & Smart Connections
@willardsbruce: seriously doubt it. Due to the historical reason, pretty much all mountains/land are owned privately in AT, and the only way people are allowed is thanks to the "Wegefreiheit", which applies only to hikers. This applies not just to hiking trails, but also to forest/access roads, even when they are maintained via EU or local public funds (often in name of tourism). Where it's hilarious is that this means EU and AT citizens are paying for maintenance of private forest/fire/access roads, which basically are maintained only for farmers, landowners, and logging ( a hiker doesn't need a well maintained forest road).

4 Things We Learned from the South Korea DH World Cup
@atrokz: ok boomer, you watched 26 years but forgot about the snow in Lourdes right before the DH? Yet this was one great opening round. Tons of mud in Champery in 201x ? Became iconic thanks to it. It's simply pathetic to use weather to diss a venue. Wasn't there a EU venue where they had tons of issues with wooden features in slick conditions ? 26 years should also have been enough to see example of shit tracks like Olympic Games track, Beijing and Paris come to mind, or dumb dangerous tracks like crans Montana. This track was really fine, and it was just unfortunate timing of the rain. Where I would agree is that the camera placement for the xc was crap but that's about it.
