@lennartkung: I have one, haven't noticed any headset creaks on my 2023. I'm in generally-dry Cali, but we ride through the wet winters also. I grease my headset bearing once per year. Surprisingly no notchy-ness in the bearing haven't had to replace it yet.
That said I do think it is time for new presfit Bottom bracket. I heard a bit of intermittent creaking which comes and goes (again oddly - maybe weather dependent??)

I think the scott is just no frills, function over form, raw speed. Its just engineering's answer of how to go fast on an xc bike. love it

I'm right there with ya. But yikes except for the uber lightest HMX SL frame, the builds seem really heavy.
