nice video! doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell people how important a helmet is and this video did a great job of doing that. props!

I used to never wear helmets either until yesterday, when I went to Bike Party. I was cranking out of an intersection when my chain snapped. I went OTB, sorta rolled around and ended up smacking my head pretty good. I got up, walked to the side of the road and found that the foam inside the helmet had practically cracked in half. Never not wearing my lid ever again!

It's too bad a certain girl didn't watch this before she went and tried to ride the whistler dirt jumps without a helmet. Long story short she got a concussion and had to get reconstructive surgery on her face.Just on a small bail too.So wear your helmets kids!!

Using reconstructive surgery as an example of a reason why you should wear a helmet, is somewhat debatable. You can still do some serious damage to your face wearing your standard approved bicycle helmet. And i know plenty of guys who have gotten concussions wearing a helmet.
Not saying its not a good idea, just saying its not the end all solution to accidents.

Love it. This year a helmet probably saved my life, I dented a tree with my head, recieved a concusion and don't remember about a five hour span of time. Just snapping out of it in the ER and telling my self to get new gear.
Helmets = having brains.
Helmet + neck brase = still riding
and never ride alone I was lucky because one guy I was riding with was a ski patrol member and realised what was going on. Even if your just with a freind they can tell something is wrong.
