Goooooooood morning!

I'm having a little trouble deciding between a carbon or aluminum bar. I have my heart set on the Easton Havoc 35/800. It will accompany my 6" travel trail (what are the kids calling it? Enduro?) bike with a Pike up front. Is it worth the cost? Is it too stiff? Does rider size matter? Are these awful questions? My brain is going to explode...

Handlebars are quite personal really. I've never riddin a 35 diameter bar but i do know of testers who have claimed they are too stiff.

I've probably tried out 15-20 different bars and no two feel or handle the same.

Im quite partial to the normally cheaper heavyier al2014 bars as i think they give the best feel.

I like Alu over Carbon for feel, oversized of course.

Just swapped my Carbon Next Raceface bar for an Alu Crankbrothers

I know this guy, who has a cousin, that lives next door to girl, who saw a scratch on something and then his carbon bar blew up in his face. (End sarcasm)

Carbon will absorb some buzz but I don't think the difference is all that great. Get whatever smokes your shorts.
