Video: Random Acts of Bikeness - Hamilton, Ontario

All summer, all across Canada, Giant’s super stealth, polyester-clad team was hitting trails and festivals, bike parks and suburban sidewalks looking for totally random people to give new Giant bikes to. The campaign is called Random Acts of Bikeness, and it’s Giant’s way of taking bad, jiggly, rusty, beaten down bikes off the street and replacing them with much cooler rides.

Visit www.giantbicycle.com to find a Giant store near you.

We figure everyone deserves a great bike – so let’s give some away. (And is there any better way than on the sly in puffy wigs and aviators? We didn't think so.)

I live in Hamilton! Awesome work. Come to the east end you could empty your whole warehouse with all the people riding clapped out Canadian tire/walmart bikes

Definitely. Even more valuable though is the work you guys are doing at the New Hope co-op, though I'm disheartened to hear that the MACycle Co-op might have lost their space and shut down. The scariest thing in this city is the number of people that true their wheels Hamilton style - a.k.a. when their wheels get too wobbly to pass through the brakes they just disengage their brakes.

 Brakes are overrated.

These RAB's are pretty cool, but doesn't it make sense to give someone a bike that fits? I mean that bike would fit most 12 yr old girls...

I found this as I go to McMaster. Mac-cycle is definitely not gone; we are now just underneath the bleachers on the Ron Joyce stadium, next to the underground parking lot entrance.

giant sending someone away on a bike. Not even concerned with them even having the seat at the right height. Or a helmet.
