Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association (FVMBA) invites you to join us for a fun-filled Halloween group ride at Vedder Mountain in Chilliwack on Sunday, November 1, 2009.
Details inside,
Make sure to wear your Halloween costume as there will be prizes for best costume! Bring a non-perishable food donation for the Chilliwack Food Bank and you will be entered to win some sweet draw prizes from Pinkbike.com, Wenting's Cycle and Mountain Shop, Bike Brewery, and Jack’s Cycle.
The ride starts at 12:00 noon, at the end of Parmenter Road. If you would like to shuttle, you will need to bring your own vehicle. Some of the truly ghoulish among us are going to pedal up to The Den! The riding goes until 3 pm, at which time we will be starting up the BBQ. Purchase your 2010 FVMBA Membership on-site and enjoy a free burger and drink!
The FVMBA is a registered non-profit, volunteer-run organization whose primary goal is to maintain and develop the network of mountain biking trails in the Fraser Valley. We support local trail builders and provide a public face for the mountain bike ‘community’, a community that is diverse and enthusiastic about a ‘hobby’ that, for many, is a way of life.
By becoming a member, you will be supporting local trail maintenance, and allow us to work with the various levels of government and land owners in the Fraser Valley. FVMBA maintains trails in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, and Maple Ridge. Did I mention the free burger and drink?
