Welcome to the second behind the scenes featurette for our film The Rise of Enduro presented by Shimano. We traveled to Valloire, France to cover the 3rd stop of the Enduro World Series, interviewed Tribe Events founder Fred Glo, and filmed in the birthplace of the enduro race format. The terrain was amazing and the trip was a blast. We filmed a short segment with riders Joe Barnes and Ludo May from the Canyon and Ergon Enduro team following the race. Enjoy the following video as well as some photos from the trip. Thanks for checking it out and special thanks to Shimano, Marin Bikes, Enve Composites, Maxxis Tires, Pinkbike, Ergon, Yakima, and Cane Creek for making it possible.

So are goggles on an open face super d or is that still enduro? Maybe its people that are too self conscious that they look like a roadie if they just wear sunglasses so they make it look like they're about to play paintball.

Enduro is racing. If you are not racing, you can't say that you are riding enduro. Practicing for enduro races might qualify, though. Where did this misunderstanding that enduro is anything but racing come from?

it started as racing but now it's a new marketing term for mountain biking Wink

Enduro is pretty sweet, certainly...nevertheless, I'm chomping at the bit for the next WC DH race.

It's kinda funny, I've seen and heard a lot about "enduro" riding and racing, but I really don't know exactly what it is!?

You will need a special enduro TV to watch this.

I will not watch anything titled "The Rise of Enduro". Nothing kills my riding boner faster than talking about "Enduro" "rising".
