Must Watch: Nico Vink Rides Through Flames In ''From The Ash''
He is now riding for Transition. I think the article said it was filmed earlier before he had made the switch.

Why Are We Using 12-Speed Drivetrains? - The Explainer
I own it- E13 Race cassette 9-46T. Right about 300 grams. The caveat is that some didn’t get on with it so well- shifting issues, creaking etc. mine has been fantastic though, no issues at all- and I even bought the bigger replacement piece of the cassette in preparation for it to wear out but it hasn’t yet. I don’t think they make it anymore (the Race version), but they still make the Plus version which is right about 340 gm.

Video: Geoff Gulevich Rides '7th Secret' in North Vancouver
@notthatfast: for sure! Yeah, I hadn’t ridden the Shore in a while, and didn’t have my groove on, was probably riding a little timidly since my memories of the trail were rusty and got owned. Lesson learned- let off the brakes and commit (at least a little)!

It is. For sure not the hardest on the Shore but I went up on a spring day after a ton of rain thinking it wouldn’t be that bad, but I lost my front tire on some woodwork and put my ribs into a gnarl that was sticking out. Your comment is spot on, there’s a lot going on with 7th Secret.

A Road Trip & Fresh Start In Bellingham, Washington After Losing A Loved One To Cancer
Thanks for sharing your story, and welcome to Bellingham. My condolences for your loss. Looking good on DD, BTW, and you’re right, that section on DD really drops away, attention getting.

Study Suggests eMTBs Provide a Similar Workout to Regular Mountain Bikes Even Though They Feel Easier
Don’t care. I ride my mountain bike and pedal uphill to earn the downs. And to get away from technology for a bit. To me, eBikes are missing the whole point. Your views may vary.

First Look: Giant Manufactures Its Own Range of Suspension Forks
@zyoungson: That’s too bad. I haven’t bought a Specialized bike in a while, so had stopped paying attention to their woes. I mean, at least with all the complaints about RS and Fox, there’s a manual online and most things can be accomplished at home with those brands (unless it’s a nitrogen charge thing, but now even Fox is authorizing some local bike shops to do that work- we have one here in Bellingham now that is authorized to do such work). It’s kind of a shame- they (Spesh) have some innovative bikes. The new Enduro and the SJ Evo are interesting to me, and it seems to me that the move to a regular mount rear shock is that there is someone beginning to get it at the top of the food chain. So maybe there’s hope yet.
