Crestino and White Ridge began the second day of the Bluegrass Enduro powered by SRAM, and these next two epic trails close out this stage of the Enduro World Series.
Finale Enduro Stage 6 - Andrassa
Starting from the Bric dei Monti with a stunning view of Bergeggi Island, the trail known as Andrassa dips quickly into a fun and fast biking track through a grove of ash trees. Speed is the name of the game here as the trail leads to the Prati dell’ Andrassi, shortly thereafter entering a wooded area of primarily oak, containing several rocky technical sections.
Bergeggi Island.
Mediterranean scrub.
Welcome to the woods, where speed is king.
Iron in the stones and iron in the rider's nerves.
Breaking into the meadow, riders must pedal hard to the next section.
Open season?
Dolomite blends into the limestone, Finale is an area of geological interest.
Cutting around a stand of trees.
The trail architect taking a break inside the lianas jungle.
Finale Enduro Stage 7 - DH Men
DH Men, the final trail of the series. An iconic area of the Italian Riviera, with breathtaking multi-terrain landscapes, united by speed. The red clay of Plateau Manie welcomes cyclists, providing solid grip. As riders reach the middle section of the trail, the clay gives way to loose stone and precarious conditions that require split-second reaction times. Finally, craggy fixed stone provides a series of hard steps typical of downhill racing. DH Men ends in the beautiful port town of Varigotti.
Clay gives way to scrubby, crumbly stone trail.
Style, grace and skill with one of the best views in the world.
The competition will be as fierce as the trail itself.
Clay gives riders a grippy start, but the crumbly rocks are coming.
Riders have no time to enjoy the beauty around them…
..but if they steal a glance, the views are spectacular.
That looks like 3 decades worth of an old farmers dinner in the Italian mountains. I found similar on Monte Tre Calli, some looked decades old. Nothing compared to the amount left here in NA or in Gravel Pits locally.
Bikers - Stop leaving your empty gel packs and energy bar wrappers all over the trails, putting them in a jersey pocket won't kill your strava times. Thank you, everyone who is not a twat.
I dont understand hunting unless its necessary for survival and other useful purposes. But as purely for entertainment whats the point of it when the animal stands no chance against human intellect and technology. Its not a fair fight. And the way hunters brag like its so manly that they shot a big tough animal. Even a 12yr okd can take down a bear with the right gear. Lets see you take on the animal without all that fancy smancy gear and weapons.
Do you eat meat? Curious how ethical and brave you think you are if you're buying meat from the grocery store. Do you feel like bragging about the torture and horrid life the animal had when you grab that steak on the way to getting your Brazilian wax done?
