 You've clearly never had a handlebar in the gut. A freind of mine had a handlebar 2cm inside his skin. I would recomend buying some bar ends.

 ^ My point. Im not gonna hate on you or your bike for having no bar-ends, but its a lot safer.

I wont get wound up about somebody elses bike, but its a safe investment and can decide the difference between a small bruise, and a trip to A&E with a punctured lung or something like that... Smile

 thanks for the tips you guys. And I do put bar ends on my customers bikes. I know that just because I don't try to land with my torso squarely over the end of the bar (after some careful mid-air grip peeling) every time I crash, it doesn't mean my customers won't.
