this is the crash one, I didn't get the good one, not enough time to run back from the canyon gap after shooting Vanderham... You can see in the final frame how he landed still turning a bit to the right and when he corrected he swapped out and high sided down the landing...
at the time I posted I was just "adding" to the first comment. Poster #2 got in there seconds before me. I don't know if this is the stomped one or crash but it looks pretty perfect so I would guess stomp.
It was a little more than 35 out and 30 down, which is HUGE, almost 46 feet lip to landing! The plans had it launching off the rock at the top, not really possible... We tend to make things to be way bigger than they are, that's like jumping off a 3 story building and landing on the other side of the street almost...
to the guy who put the first response to the comment, You should clearly read the pinkbike rules on deleting comments. You are Example of A comment that should be deleted. One of the rules states that a comment that asks something that is clearly stated in the description or article will be deleted. This rule exists because comments like those are completely useless to the biking community. Im not saying you are because i'm sure you have made some great comments but please read the description before you start asking things that are clearly stated and clogging up my screen with useless words. Just some constructive criticism. I hope you read this, you will become a far wiser person.
the pictures of this drop do it justice. from the angle the videos were taken it looks like they aren't that high off the ground (the ridge kinda blocked the view). this shot shows how epic that 360 really was... awesome capture for sure! props to cam zink.
dude i have mad respect for you, your photos are amazing and pinkbike really would be missing out on some kick ass photos if it werent for you....nice work man and good luck in the future
this is stupidly insane. i can't even fathom how the hell cam pulled this off. it's like a bike miracle props to the photgrapher, it really shows how huge this thing was. +1 to both of you!
zink rides for corsair right? anyone know what specific bike this is? also he deserves a more major sponser than them no offense, or at least a big raise now.
It's the new Corsair Dominion, and why would he "deserve a more major sponsor"? Is there something wrong with Corsair? And why do you think he deserves a big raise now? Do you know how much he makes? I don't, but I'll tell you that all of his previous "big" sponsors ditched him when he was injured, far better to ride for a company that supports you than a big company that doesn't care...
no thats not what i meant, corsairs are great bikes. Just in my opinion anyone who can 360 something this big and win crankworx in the same year deserves more money than I would assume corsair can afford to pay him. I could be wrong, just corsair as a company probably doesnt make nearly as much as a company like trek or kona.
