All I did was buy new rims and nipples for the wheels I got for free.

To be rode on the forks, bars, stem, tyres etc you bought. You may have swapped the wheels but you still effectively payed for them.

Nope. I got the totem a totem rc2 dh for free. Then traded that for 831 and old wheels. Bought new rims, nips.
