 The finest shifter out there! I run this on my XC bike, and the X.9 on my DH bike. Functionally they are the same, but you get and adjustable lever with the X.0 model. It is super light, and give you super snappy shifting. If you are a weight weenie and want and adjustable lever go with this one, if you want the same performance, and want the best bang for the buck, go for the X.9

 The shifters are sweet. I have the 2011 X0 red and black set. The graphic does not just end on the shifter cage itself, but also on the upshift trigger. The shifters are easy to adjust and are very responsive. Besides the price tag these shifters are great to add to a cross country, XC, or a AM. Pros: Responsive, Cool graphic, Easy adjust.  Not much I can say other than it's as close to perfect that I think any trigger can be. Shifting is lightning fast, reliable and super easy to set-up. You can match it with any 1:1 rear mech and still keep a high level of performance so you can spend a bit more on this and get an X9 rear and have an amazing package that will last through almost anything and won't break the bank

 pros: amazing shifter works great feels amazing and is prbably one of the best out there.The price is exceptional. Set up is easy etc. perfect weight.
Cons: Not very strong attachement to the handlebars ( just snapped mine so i can pay another 114 for a new one). sometimes the shifter gets stuck.

 Im running this shifter for almost 3 years on my Trek session with the XO derailleur.It's defintly the best and most precise shifter i own,perfect shifting,fast and never head any problems with it.Higly recommended

 they shift great, very pricy, but if you have the cash or find a bargain they are the way to go, if you take apart the front one you can end up with the spring messed and a wierd shift

 the shifter is more important than the derailleur in my opinion and these shifters cant be beat by any others i have used, there just so crisp!

 best shifters period. shimano cant compete with the crisp feel and warranty sram offers. light enough for xc race, burly enough for dh and freeride.

 Light weight and super smooth action. My favourite shifter by far. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone and whatever you ride.
