Qualifying Results from the Snowshoe DH World Cup 2022
@scott-townes: actually loads of race winners have played the tactics game with bad quali getting better start time. Best example of it is Champery 2007. Matti stopped for like 10s on course to get an earlier start time as he knew rain came in at same time every day.

Racing Rumours: 5 Possible Changes for the 2023 World Cup Season (Warner Off Commentary Confirmed)
I find it mildly amusing that there is ZERO coverage of these issues over at VitalMTB. Perhaps Outside is trying to take some of the heat away from their corporate takeover of Pinkbike with some clickbait distraction? Almost as if they are saying "look over there at this tragedy" while doing the same themselves. #hypocracy?
I will say that I am gutted if all these changes are not just rumor and especially about no Warner. We went through all the same issues and fears when Red Bull took over from FreecasterTV, but they kept the commentator (now a sober one inside the booth) and did not change the sporting at all. Time will tell if these changes come about, but now is the perfect time for the riders to organize and stand up and fight for their say in the sport.

Really anything from his drunken FreecasterTV days is pure gold. He is a far better commentator now, but it was just fun to hang out and listen then.

@Nuss-95: Yeah... I'm sure my paid subscription is going straight to the small teams and privateer riders. Until prize purse money becomes a legitimate funding for all teams and entries, I'll continue to directly support the best way I can in purchasing goods from their sponsors and voicing my thanks for supporting the scene.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Pay to Watch World Cup DH Racing?
I say bring on the pay structure on a few conditions. They better give me F1 level coverage, pay teams F1 level $$, and include F1 level of the number of races. No more of this 5 race per year shenanigans. Bring on 15 rounds, all over the world (not just middle earth). They better show all rounds of practice, quali and full race runs of all participants in real time. Lastly, there better be someone on PirateBay to upload all of it so I can DL for free.
