Will You Be Banshee's 10,000th Facebook Fan?

by Banshee Bikes
Banshee Bikes are closing in on a Facebook milestone, 10,000 page likes.

To celebrate this achievement, Banshee are giving away an Amp frame to a random liker once the 10,000th person hits the 'like' button on the Banshee Bikes Facebook page.

Banshee

The Amp is the spark you need to hit the big set. Strong, light at just 4.5lbs and super stiff with internally ribbed stays, the Amp is dialled for dirt jumps, pumptrack or 4X.

So if you’re on Facebook and want to show Banshee some love, like the page and get all the latest Banshee news and info in your news stream. Once 10,000 likes are reached, the winner will be chosen at random.

Update - the Amp will go to a random 'liker' once 10,000 likes are reached - thanks for the suggestion sup3rc0w!

this really dissapoints me as long time Banshee rider. all of the sudden become fancy, pushy mainstream bullcrap? really? shame on you guys! get back to being the quiet lurker and let your products speak for itself, no need for this. let spesh trek giant etc be the attention whore's, they can't beat your frame's anyway.

hipster detected! Seriously though, any time you ask a question that starts "why would they..." the answer is always money.

more frames sold = more cash to spend on R+D.

well Banshee was ALLWAYS about being the small guy, like they are (and infact were) some sort of "Pride" like they claimed to be. with this modern BS they are dragging that old school vibe to the dirt faster than sliding out of a corner on a Scream and yes that pisses me off.

mod me down as much as you want somebody has to say this.

I have not seen that Banshee is any less about the small guy...just that they are giving a frame away on facebook...one has nothing to do with the other. Promoting your business in a fun way sure does suck...lol. The age old mantra that you can't make all the people happy sure is true, go ride your bike and stop worrying about this type of stuff...going to give my Rune a good railing this weekend and none of this BS will effect how much I love it.

ofcourse it doesn't and I will allways love how the bikes ride, thats not my point. but your absolutly right I need to let it go that Banshee is slowly changing, might be for the better who knows. as long as their making sick bikes that's all what matters.

 Dislikers will be disqualified Wink

And why would we like it now given those scenarios. Surely no one will like it now...and try wait others out...like me

Random "liker" would surely be best?
Incentive to like immediately and fair to all the "old supporters"

 Good call sup3rc0w!

And now everybody who has already liked the page is going to dislike it so that they can try to be the 10,000th like

For sure. I wonder if there's a program like auction sniper on Ebay for this...? Wink

i copy and pasted this out of the first sentnce: "Banshee are giving away an Amp frame to a random liker once the 10,000th person hits the 'like' button on the Banshee Bikes Facebook page.
"

Because they edited after myself and another guy pointed out the two flaws with the contest, it was originally to go to the 10,000th "like"er

Wait so does the 10,000th person get it or anybody in the first 10,000??
  • 1 0
 Nope !!! Love Banshee...........facebook.....not a fan !
