We've seeded the surrounding area with a lot of wild flowers to keep it hidden, a couple of weeks of having a dump truck and a digger tearing around the place certainly left its mark. Hoping that when the weather dries out a bit (if it ever does) it'll look a lot better and we'll have some good summer sessions with the barbeque going. :)

Results: Men's DH World Championship
@mattDH18, you're misunderstanding my point. Of course it was more entertaining than watching the Tour de France or some other boring sh*t, amd of course these guys raced their hardest and the fastest guy won, etc etc, etc. My point is that this is supposed to be the World Championships of Downhill racing where spectators want to see something REALLY special. They want to see the best riders in the world pushed to the absolute limits of their skill on a track which put that skill to the test. For me this was a kind of crossbreed Enduro/DH race. Not what I wanted to see anyway.

The track was appalling, just a big dusty mess. We need steep tracks with bags and bags of gnar. The kind of tracks that mere mortals look at and say, "How the f*ck do you get down there?!?". I have been looking forward to the World Champs for a year and that was total sh*t, one of the most disappointing races in recent time.
