Video: BikePark Wales Episode 2 - First Fix

by BikeParkWales

In episode two of the making of BikePark Wales we join the team in mid June as the project really ramps up. The visitor centre is now out of the ground and the roof is on, whilst trail work continues at full steam ahead. It’s a tough time as Rowan meets continued problems and machine breakdowns on the hill whilst unexpected costs and delays are encountered with the building. There is light at the end of the tunnel though as the project draws closer to completion.

19.06.13. Bikepark Wales PIC Andy Lloyd

BikePark Wales opens to the public on Saturday 24th August and you can book uplift online on the BikePark Wales website now.

There's a pump and jump trail right out the front of the visitors centre, and if it's free ride you're after, there's loads of options. A lot of the trails are quite 'jumpy' and the Pro Line is massive. There's a real mix of rocky, rooty, tech, fast, steep etc. Pop down and have a look, you'll love it!
