For sale is my Large Trek Rail 7. I have 2 kids that need my time more than ever so I am taking a pause on this sport and selling my stuff. Bike comes with new Shimano XT rear derailleur, Cassette, and chain (Only 2 rides on them). You will notice that the bike has some scratches on it. Most are just from rocks and normal bike use. The two that most will care about is the computer screen scratch and the scratches on the top tube. The scratches on the computer screen were from a buddy borrowing the bike and flipping the bike over to fix a flat. Yes, we are still friends but he is not allowed within 10 feet of my stuff anymore, :). I was going to swap it out but when the bike is on you cannot see the scratches at all. Purely cosmetic but I know it will be a talking point for most of you. The top tube scratches were from the bike being blown over when I was resting and it falling on a fence. That hurt my soul but things happen. I also have extras that I am including with this price. The rear tire is on its last legs so you get another one included with the price. The Renthal Carbon bars and Raceface turbine stem were on the bike but I put it back to the aluminum stock bars and stem. The rear DVO coil (comes with 2 springs to cover different rider weights) made a dramatic improvement to how capable this bike is. It was my favorite upgrade out of everything and for an ebike, it makes total sense to go coil. I am including all of this for my asking price. If you ask for a cheaper price, the upgrades start disappearing. As you can see from the other ads, the bike is one of the cheaper listings and comes with a lot of upgrades that others are not offering. You are looking at a pretty mint, purchased this year, Ibis Ripley. As you will see from my profile, I made my way through the Ibis lineup. I had a large and felt that it was too compact for me and the bike felt jittery on my local socal trails. Going to an XL was much better in fit and stability. I am 5'11" and was a lot more comfortable on the XL than the L that Ibis's sizing chart recommended. Now, this bike was purchased with an immediate upgrade to the DVO Topaz rear shock. I am so glad I did this as the bike kept it's amazing climbing capability and got very close to Ripmo performance on the downhill. When I had my V1 Ripmo, I thought that was the ultimate trail bike. This quickly replaced it in fun factor. I could not find one scratch on the frame. As you can see from the pictures, the frame is covered in protective tape with the corners rounded off on the tape to avoid peeling. Additionally, I had a neoprene sleeve on the chainstay to protect the frame and the rubber protector that comes with it. Check the pictures, even the rubber protector is in perfect shape. The fork is also in really good condition. I also had tape all over the fork and the stanchions are perfect. The bike comes with a Pike Ultimate that pairs perfectly with the bike. I also have a nukeproof anodized purple stem and Ibis carbon bars that I am included with the bike. Why am I selling this? Because I have a bike sickness and the only solution is more bikes!!
