The London Bike Show is the UK’s premier cycling exhibition and in 2012 attracted over 85,000 visitors. Whether you are interested in road cycling, mountain biking, BMX, cyclo cross or just a weekend family cycle ride - you’re guaranteed to find it here. German tire-manufacturer Continental will of course be there! You can see Conti’s newest products for 2013 on their stand - LB830. The two-wheel department at Continental’s Korbach factory in Germany has been working full-time on developing the highest quality bicycle tires for their 2013 product range. Their tires are tested under the toughest conditions and used by renowned athletes in the hardest competitions such as the London 2012 Olympic Games and Tour de France.
The highlight of your trade fair visit will be a meeting with street trial phenomenon Danny MacAskill. The famous Scotsman from the Isle of Skye will be at the Continental booth for a two-hour signing session. So, make sure to find the time to meet the mountain bike trials legend. Since the beginning of his career Danny has plenty of outstanding achievements: broken YouTube records, “Laureus Sports Award” Nominee 2010, 3rd place at National Geographic’s “Adventurer of the Year Award” 2011. In 2012 he carried the Olympic torch and rode with Sir Chris Hoy for the inauguration of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
