The London Bike Show is the UK’s premier cycling exhibition and in 2012 attracted over 85,000 visitors. Whether you are interested in road cycling, mountain biking, BMX, cyclo cross or just a weekend family cycle ride - you’re guaranteed to find it here. German tire-manufacturer Continental will of course be there! You can see Conti’s newest products for 2013 on their stand - LB830. The two-wheel department at Continental’s Korbach factory in Germany has been working full-time on developing the highest quality bicycle tires for their 2013 product range. Their tires are tested under the toughest conditions and used by renowned athletes in the hardest competitions such as the London 2012 Olympic Games and Tour de France.

The highlight of your trade fair visit will be a meeting with street trial phenomenon Danny MacAskill. The famous Scotsman from the Isle of Skye will be at the Continental booth for a two-hour signing session. So, make sure to find the time to meet the mountain bike trials legend. Since the beginning of his career Danny has plenty of outstanding achievements: broken YouTube records, “Laureus Sports Award” Nominee 2010, 3rd place at National Geographic’s “Adventurer of the Year Award” 2011. In 2012 he carried the Olympic torch and rode with Sir Chris Hoy for the inauguration of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Come along to meet Danny at the Conti stand (LB830) on Saturday, January 19th between 3:00pm and 5:00pm!

Have lots of different tires but don't use any of them after finding Conti Trail Kings a few years back. I run UST and have never had problems plus they grip-n-rip any trail

Hmmmmm, i had conti rubber queens on my lapierre, i got a puncture every second ride

Yeah I have rubber queens with Black Chilli and I've had a puncture every offroad ride. Am quite disappointed. Back to the Maxxis then.

I'm not sure quite how, but I've managed to actually blow up my rear rubber queen from a small 1 foot drop, there is a hole; ripped through the side wall. Front one is still going strong and now running barons on the rear...which has a stronger side wall. Smile

I've been running the non ust queens as ust tyres for a few months now with no problems, absolutely love them

Had the conti rubber queens on for about 2 months ... never again !! The unpredictable loss of grip isn't good for your confidence, or your pants !

Both my Diesels and Gravity weren't really good. But then again those are their cheapest budget tyres, can't compare those to their top-of-the-line tyres. Also for their price I can't complain.

Nokian Gazzaloddi G 2.6 front and back. They don't look as wide as they say but they rip it on any trail you put in front of them. They feel a lot lighter than they are too. Haven't got a flat yet.

Conti tires blow maxxis and kenda outta the water in the last few years. run a baron and kaiser combo on your dh bike and you wont be dissapointed

I like the tread pattern and high volume of the Rubber Queen/ Trail king.. I found the Black Chili compound to be a little springy for me, as in too fast rebound.. The recommended pressure for the 2.4 is 45 PSI, which seems a bit much. Perhaps to make up for the thin sidewall?.. they're light for as big as they are though. One thing that's great about them is they are true to size.. the 2.4" is a MONSTER. Good to hear you like them for DH. I may give them another swing.

For me, I like the 2.4 maxxis EXO (DHF/ HR2) set up tubeless for all mountain and stick with 2.5 dual ply for DH (DHF/ DHR2) also tubeless.

 Nothing compares to maxxis...
