@jaame: I totally agree with you that a better logistic would reduce the cost but,
you just choose the wrong country by assuming that.
also there is not only the track but everything else that has nothing to do with dh racing like:
hotel rooms,service accessibility and so on.
most wont spend the money.
we use to have dh world cups and the masters in bromont québec but they figured the cost was to high.
yeah I agree with you.
Ritchie rude would probably race dh with yeti in dh instead od ews.
