Board Member/ Trail Manager: Grannies Kitchen/ Volunteer Coordinator 2009 - Present
Black Rock Mountain Bike Association.
• Designed in a major part the route and gradient of “Granny’s Kitchen” trail.
• Played a major role in the design and construction of the trail features on “GK.”
• Played a major role in the design and construction of many features on "Sickter Gnar."
• Developed new design techniques for building ladder features on top of boulders.
• Developed drainage techniques to keep erosion to a minimum in the highly saturated Oregon Coast Mountain Range.
• Developed chain saw skills including stripping planks from round stock.
• Coordinate volunteer trail building parties.
• Organized raffle fundraisers.
• Play role in planning shuttle riding days at Black Rock.
• Monitor the condition of trail features.
• Organize and instruct volunteer trail crews during workdays on “GK.”
• Worked with former ODF District Manager John Barnes on the design and planning of trail features that were deemed large enough to warrant a walk through and thorough explanation to gain ODF Approval.
• Helped designed and organize backdrop for BRMBA booth at the Portland Pedalnation Bike Expo.
• Manned the BRMBA booth at 2010 Portland Bike Expo, talked with hundreds of people about what BRMBA does as a 501 (c)3.

• Help customers with any and all questions concerning bicycles. This may include selling a bike or selling repair work.
• Organize items for display.
• Perform general technical service on any and all bicycles (excluding electric) including assembly of new bikes, and repairing customers' bikes.
• Perform specialized tasks such as servicing suspension forks and shocks, hydraulic brakes and seat posts.
• I have gained thorough knowledge of all types of bicycles and components, and provided valuable insights to our customers about the products based on personal experience and research.
