Mont-B lu Quebec Cup

Last weekend, the beautiful region of Saguenay hosted the third round of the QC Cup series at Mont-Bélu, a small ski hill less than 20 minutes from the Devinci Factory.
This year, many volunteers put a lot of efforts into improving the track. Riders immediately noticed the new top section with much more flow than last year. The building crew also added a couple of stunts including a large jump right before the finish line.

On Sunday the infamous T-Bar suddenly broke down, cutting short practice time right before the main show. Hopefully, the race started right on time and soon enough, a little less than 100 racers had passed the finish line. In the end, Jonathan Lefrançois (Xprezo/MajorCycles) took the top step of the podium with a time of 2:11.93 while second and third were respectively taken by Hugo Langevin (Cycle Performance/Niquet) and Simon Dallain (Lafferté/Trou du Diable).

On the team side, our Cadet rider Lucas Rey-Sierro hit a tree in his race run, ending his chances to be on the podium. As for Phil Ricard, he ended in 4th place couple of tenths from Simon Dallain. Our other Elite rider Sam Thibaul missed this race since he was In Méribel, France for the World Cup.
