Leogang and SCOTT join forces: The most famous Austrian bike park, well-known for a great variety of trails as well as presenting major mountain bike events, enters into its 12th season, this year for the first time together with premium bike manufacturer SCOTT.

Bikepark Leogang is already a renowned location throughout the mountain bike community. On the one hand it has become a hot spot for passionate bikers as one of the best bike parks in Europe, equipped with numerous trails for all riding levels. On the other hand Bikepark Leogang is known for successfully hosting big-time media spectacles such as the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships last year and the legendary Out of Bounds Festival as well as previous UCI Downhill World Cup stops.

The cooperation with SCOTT, one of the leading bike manufacturers worldwide, is not only a great development for Bikepark Leogang, but it's also another reason for bikers to come and ride there: “The bike brand SCOTT is an ideal partner for Bikepark Leogang. It is a big company with a long history and respected within the bike scene for producing great products. SCOTT matches our mountain biking philosophy perfectly”, comments Kornel Grundner, head of Bikepark Leogang. Martin Emslander, Project Manager Marketing with SCOTT, is also excited about the cooperation: "The Bikepark Leogang is known for its varied trails. All the better if visitors have even more fun with our bikes. We look forward to the upcoming season, impressive events and happy bike fans."

SCOTT has the perfect range of high-end bikes to enjoy all the trails available at Leogang’s bike park and throughout the entire region of Saalfelden Leogang. This will be a great incentive for visitors to come ride at the mountain resort in Salzburger Land. The on-site bike rental company Sport Mitterer will be equipped with nothing else than SCOTT’s best, like the Gambler (models 10 and 20) and the Voltage (models FR10, YZ TMO and JR 24 TMO). This is a great chance for those looking for a new bike in 2013 to come and test SCOTT’s bike range – you will not be disappointed. Moreover, to ensure aspiring riders are well equipped, all bike school camps of Elements Outdoor Sports and training classes will be held on SCOTT bikes.

SCOTT will also be a supporting partner at the numerous competitions and bike camps at Bikepark Leogang. For example Bikepark Leogang is organizing a camp especially for the ladies: The SCOTT CONTESSA Team will be inviting for a “Ladies Shred Too” camp on September 7th & 8th. Under the expert coaching of the SCOTT CONTESSA Team the participants have the opportunity to improve their technical skills (further information here).

SCOTT will be sending a bunch of their top athletes to Leogang in 2013, to compete at the world-class events hosted by Bikepark Leogang. The GSTAAD-SCOTT Team with riders like Brendan Fairclough, Emilie Siegenthaler or Florian Pugin will be racing down the notorious world championship track during the UCI Worldcup final at the end of the season (September 21st to 22nd) while some of the world’s best freeriders from the SCOTT VOLTAGE Team like Louis Reboul, Xavier Pasamonte or Peter Henke will participate at the freeride-crown at the 26TRIX slopestyle competition during the Out of Bounds Festival.

Bikepark Leogang is looking forward to the cooperation with SCOTT and to an eventful season with a lot of familiar faces as well as a lot of new visitors. Shredding at Bikepark Leogang starts on May 5th 2013!

the feeling when out riding one of this "avocado's color bike" is unreal. The floating link is really the key of this new Gambler project. Got mine set up with Boxxer WC DT SWISS wheelset and Sram XO carbon and is on 15,6kg mark. impressive.

I doubt you'll be banned, just depressed when you see what everyone else is riding. (not bashing yeti in any way)

I'd be more stoked if some of the jumps were reworked so you wouldn't case one jump to fly way after the landing on the second one. As rad as Leo is the park really needs some reworking.
