And for other people, some things are worth risking it all. There is a guy called Wojtek Kurtyka and a book about him called "Art of Freedom" by canadian writer Bernadette Mcdonald. Really worth reading even if you are not interested in mountianeering. This Kurtyka guy is even far more extreme in his dedication, he did the hardest routes in himalayas where many people literally died and did not succeed and the best part about his story is that he is hitting 70 now. I really envy people who can do such things, the feeling of freedom, when you can go for something like that conciously, has to be one of the geatest feeling you can have.

It's neverending long-shot marketing work, where you don't sell, just create brand recognition, which is necessary where you are about to buy something just to consider some brands. ROI is rather impossible to calculate. I would say it's better than most PR/brand recognition ideas out there. I would think that there are significantly more people than avarage on this website potentially in their target, Mostly men - check, outdoor hobby - check, probably higher earnings than avarage - check, probably higher rate of being or going to be from the construction etc. field than avarage. Plus it is a good content. Hail for the maker i wold say.

@Konyp: there is definitely an "vuo" like in french 'voila' and sh is like in german "schmitz". It is still way better than in english, There are barely no exeptions, if you know how to read one word, similar word will have similar pronunciation, not like shire and worchestershire. I actually think that this is the best helmet cam video i've ever seen from a course. Insane speed, ridiculous jumps, steep, with commentary even mid air and really good quality recording.
