Angel Fire Bike Park 2011 Recap

It finally feels like winter here in Albuquerque, NM when I look outside my window and there is a blizzard going on outside. We in Albuquerque have been spoiled by amazing 60-degree weather but now I just sit in front of my computer wishing I could ride my bike. Just a week ago I had made my way up to Angel Fire Mountain Resort to meet up with Bike Park Manager Hogan Koesis. I stood at the bottom of the Chile Express chairlift thinking about how just a month ago I was riding my bike here and now everything is under snow. Winter is in full swing and I thought it would be fun to put together a 2011 recap video of Angel Fire Bike Park. Hope you enjoy, have a good winter and see you on two wheels next year.

This recap makes me a little sad that summer is over and whats in store for next season. it was a great summer of riding and hanging. I had a blast at AF. I'm sure AF is going to be off the HOOK next year , this year was great can't wait to see all the great stuff they build next year. and I'm excited to ride Chillin' dry. and ride that dual course again 2 sneaky sniper runs weren't enough. and well now what am i gonna do with these BIKEWORK kits.

I went here this year and had a great time. I still have a long way to go to being a decent rider but I felt I learned a lot here and pushed myself into being more comfortable riding downhill (only my second time). I really hope to return.

Spent a week up there during 4th of July also. Our first time to stay and ride there and the trails were a blast. Just noticed my wife and daughter in the part 1 Ziggy video! Too cool!!!

Yee New Mexico! The riding seems sick there. I'm a proud rocker of a Duke's hat, but living in California, no one knows what the hell it means.

Love the trails man , Whistler looks cool and all but places like this and silverstar and sunpeaks appeal to me so much more , loose rough dusty DH trails.
