I have been on a bike for 10 years now, raced competitively for 5 of them. Road mountain bikes all over the west cost with close friends and random encounters. I love biking so as my life changes my bike is the only constant. From DH to XC even to BMX. If it has two wheels I love it.

Slopestyle Added to X Games 2013
I agree, mountain biking has so many types of riders(hipsters too), its not really a good x-game sport. I raced Dual, ride dirt jumps, get lost on 30 mile xc rides, and race DH. Slop style's a small part of mountain biking thats getting all the attention. I'm a biker who has done all of them and keep going back to riding trails. X-games can't capture the true nature of such a diverse sport but I look forward to seeing how scared the riders faces get on a course they had no say in building. Rock this X-games! PS a BMX rider will probably win.

Felt Virtue Sport Review
Im sorry that happened, luckily felt still makes useless ride where I live the designs cool but poorly implanted in my personal opinion and could most defiantly improve. Everyone here ride santa cruz or specialized VPP or FSR, everything deeeight sounds true, I have spend some time with bike companies around California form start ups like Transition or failed companies like Verses and then even some time testing metal properties for a school assignments at Santa cruz Bikes. Then Worked on testing a few ideas at Specialized, most of the guys and engineers are nice guys who love to ride and as I know them honest people. Sadly Ideas are up for grabs if not written in stone and pattens are expensive and take a good 40 hours or work to write up, then add the $500 to file and then the cost to buy a number of years to hold the patten if your not a company this is costly. I have a number of Idea and spent sometime working of a free floating shot design that looks promising. The coast though to finalize test and then patten an idea without anyway to produce is ridiculous. So you have no choice to trust that people will give you due credit and be good people. So everyone who thinks that this is his fault should try and make anything... like maybe a paper weight and then paten the design and then try selling it... You are more ignorant to the system than 14 year olds i know. but then most people don't make anything and just consume so your opinion is pointless in an argument on building anything. The truth though is most all ideas have been stolen at some point and at the end all people care about is if it works. The catch is to invent, integrate and redesign while never telling a soul until you have the ability to build, ship and out produce you composition (easier said than done..) Excuse Spelling, wrote this on an iPad.

Trek Session 9.9 Review
I have spend too much time reading this, but as an engineer and a long time cycles, I find many of the comment troubling and the argument missing. Nobble you are not thinking about the world as a whole, only you pathetic little life. Bikers who get freebies like all the trek team get to race these, hoping the advanced suspension will allow them to work less and win more, and all the engineers who worked on them get too ride them as well. The Trek 9.9 is the best of the best ride I can assure you is is so much nicer than any build of a V10 carbon, I use to ride a v10c and own a trek remedy now, there are things the treks suspension can do that VPP just can't handle. The engineering on this bike is crazy complicated, ever take a basic physics class, if not wiki "hooks law", springs are amazing, try dampening them perfectly to handle the rocks roots and drops is difficult because each one demands a different ratio and compression figure. Then look at the way the back pivot move you start getting excited, their are student who get PHD in physics by doing complex analysis on bikes. So lets back up and think, can you afford a Audi R8? no but its still made and sold, and there are people who have more money than imagined and think all this technology will make them faster, sorry not true, it fun amazing and like the R8 fast, but both can't make someone a better driver or rider. The point is simple fox and trek engineers where just having fun making an amazing bike. So the first comment on this article needs to be! This bike is amazing end of story! PS The argument is meanwhile in Canada:)
