Video: British Doctor Urges Mountain Bikers to "Make Good Decisions"
@5afety3rd: my physics knowledge has long past expired; could you please elaborate or state whether this increases/decreases the changes of transmission?

Video: British Doctor Urges Mountain Bikers to "Make Good Decisions"
@heckler73: Serious Question: does social distancing apply when riding with someone? I'd imagine that their exhalations are still present in the air when I cross through them seconds after. THOUGHTS ANYONE?

Pinkbike Poll: Not So Fast, Punc!
Physics and their trade-offs persist. Instead of a 27.5 vs 29 test, how about a shaved thin race tire vs its burly brother. I doubt it would produce the mythical 5 second gap, especially over 100 trials with the added flats. Therefore, are the sponsors dictators? As Jill said, you have to make your speed in the us, but control it in Europe. Choose your rubber accordingly.

The New Santa Cruz Nomad is Longer and Slacker Than Ever – First Ride
For some reason, it seems like a fair size of the riding public likes to hate on SC (colors, aesthetics, price, ego). Whether the haters are inspired by annoyance, envy, poor taste in colors ;) or the high price, they are FULL of themselves. Its a market, don't like it ~ don't buy it. I have been a long time Santa Cruz fan and love my bike. I think they have great taste in colors and style. I don't understand, especially since preference in style is subjective. "Its a great bike, but fugly..." (Even more so, its not like that mastodon bike free-ride/xc bike (was it cube?) that was reviewed recently). I feel like its similar why people hate on the the patriots, manchester united etc. They are too good, too pricey and people want to see the underdog roar.

50to01 TV: Ratboy Rides Burgtec - Video
@nvranka: "Idiot" I may be, but I grew up witnessing the most beautiful (flawless) bikes glistening in the sun as it cruised along decomposed granite of West Cliff. As a student who could only afford a bike 8 years old, it certainly was frustrating to realize so many top-o-line bikes would never be ridden as intended. Surely the gray earned the right to purchase and own the bike, but it doesn't change the fact status played a role.
