What is the difference between being puppets and sponsored riders? Chill out, its a strange but cool weekend bike event. You're living in China and this is the issue you're frustrated over? Oh boy...
That last drop was wayyyy bigger than it looked in the preview. This looked really gnarly, haha.
@scott-townes we are in China, so we know much better this is a ridiculous event, nothing positive to promote the sport in our country. If you see those crash images, you will agree, i am sure.
U really need to see Kelly's pic, he is doing well, no broken arm, I don't know who told you all this, there is lift in the mountain, riders no need to carry bikes up. And there is no one force any rider to ride, they can quit any time they want. Its challenging, every DH event has injure, ok?! Calm down, and try to find out the truth, don't say anything like this. You from China doesn't mean you know every detail about this event.
gaoyiyang- Welcome to MTBing. People can crash and if you're riding, you're solely responsible to ride within your limits. Have you never seen the Rampage? It makes this look like child's play and mtbchina is absolutely right. This overreaction is silly. "organizers are murderers!" hahaha, OK sure thing.
Damn the event organizers, on-site security equipment is too short, the buffer is too short, there is the damn stick fence, this is murder. I hope the injured friend recovers soon.
Anyway, I don't feel strange when this event runs under the Brand of RebBull, even dangerous and challenging could be the reason for racers to join and improve themselfs.
And, by the way, there are some real good MTB championships in China.(as i know, at the same time when sky gate race going, there was another DH race running in YunNan province, and some foreigners has already joined). Hope more and more people will learn more about them.
Sorry for my limited english, later, i would uploading some pices of MTB outdoor crossing, which i shoot not far from beijing. hope more people will like them, and-----"welcome to china~"
No crap and riding down stairs in Brazil isn't MTBing either but who cares? Its entertaining if done right... which I hope this was but one edit with robot sex music is not quite enough. So far some pretty cool shots though.
Hunan TV Zhangjiajie rooftop downhill race activity planner Luo Yingchun -- you can go to die!!!! The platform on both sides of gap is so large, and the hard ground, no door, riders fly down buffer is too short! And the damn iron fence.! The iron fence has no sponge pad protection! And the driver's on his own.! You're going to play dead people.! I was angry! Junk Hunan satellite TV!!! Garbage activity! Foreigners are also people, but also the father and mother! You guys are going to die.!!! I hope the event of the injured player early recovery!!!!(翻译软件翻译的,可能语句会不标准,老外勉强看吧 求被封杀!)......The translation software translation, careless look, foreign friends.......
@gaoxiang89 being so angry is understandable. We understand that Redbull events are all high level and difficult, however, this race's organizer didn't prepare enough, for example the protections. Not to mention the whole race and facilities such as the berms/wallrides.
