SMITH is excited to dedicate the month of October to honouring the Strong. Beautiful. Unstoppable. women in action sports by not only highlighting some of its most decorated female athletes, but also donating to First Descents, giving young women fighting cancer the opportunity to “out live” their diagnosis through outdoor experiences.


During the month of October, SMITH will donate $1 for every sunglass sold on smithoptics.com to First Descents, a non-profit offering young adult cancer fighters and survivors outdoor adventure experiences, empowering them to reclaim their lives. To help SMITH and First Descents spread the word, SMITH will be hosting a social media contest, searching for the best photo each week that exemplifies ‘Strong. Beautiful. Unstoppable.’ moments. The winner will be selected every Wednesday by one of SMITH’s very own female athletes. The weekly winners will receive a full SMITH sport-specific prize pack, including a helmet, eyewear and apparel.



Contest Details: To enter, get out and enjoy the great outdoors with the ‘Strong. Beautiful. Unstoppable.’ women in your life and take a photo while doing it. Once you’re done, follow SMITH on your favorite social media platform and tag your photo with #SMITHWomen and @smithoptics. Winning photos will be announced each Wednesday throughout October on SMITH’s Instagram.
