Bypass the Masses, Riding Bike Park in August - Video

For well over a decade now, people from far and wide have been flocking to Whistler, BC by the thousands to ride the world's most famous lift access bike park! Over the years the crowd has grown so big during August, that lift lines are enormous, mountain bars and restaurants are at capacity and god help you to find parking for the day!



For 2016 Whistler Blackcomb has opened the Creekside Gondola to the public for Bike Park access. This means for the first time we can upload from Creekside and bypass the long lift waits August is infamous for.


Creekside is now home to a second Garbanzo Bike & Bean shop offering all the same Rental, Retail and shop service as the village location. The perks don't end there. With a free multi-level parking garage right at creek base, you'll never forget where you parked again! Upon upload, you'll find the Raven's Nest also up and running for the first time in summer. This mid-mountain gem is a must visit with a spectacular view and awesome menu featuring $5 Coronas! You can also find a pump, tubes, tools and trail maps up here!
