@bitterrooter: https://growlercage.com/ I found this on a quick Google search. There are other options out there if you look. Cheers!

Letter from the Editor: Pinkbike’s Next Chapter with Outside
Here's a philosophical question: is (was) Pinkbike a product or a community? There is all this talk of producing a product and then selling it off, but is that was this site is at its core? For me Pinkbike is about a thriving online community via comments and the buy/sell section. The site serves as the meeting place for this community, and the content seeds discussion and engagement. I had to stop reading the above comments because there were just too many, and I barely noticed any partisan/political bullsh!t because regardless of where we stand on other issues we are united with our love of bikes and this community. Selling the site to Outside was like literally selling the town in which all of us lived (even if some of our neighbors hate one another), and now the new owners have a fiduciary responsibility to f*ck us with taxes. Was the town in financial distress? What was wrong with the ad model? If you wanted to fund a racing team, why didn't you just ask the users and start a crowdfunding campaign? And if you absolutely needed the cash you could've make a paywall model without corporate overlords who don't give a sh!t about the community, at least you would've kept more margins and retained creative control. ...I'm pissed and disappointed along with the rest of the community because we all feel some ownership and this decision seemed to have no regard for the special thing this website actually became. Fingers crossed the PB staff can walk the line between shareholders and the community, but if it all falls apart and some new grassroots "purplebike" or "punkbike" or whatever diaspora site pops up I hope that the new leadership builds it on a co-op model where the community members can hire/fire board members and ultimately vote on big decisions like selling off the town. I bet there could have been a better way...

Specialized Safire Comp Medium w/Upgrades

$900 USD
This 2012 Specialized Safire Comp is in great condition and was recently serviced. My wife was the second owner of this trail bike, and thoroughly enjoyed it as her first quality full-sus build. She put a number of upgrades and customizations into it over 5+ seasons of riding and had only a handful of minor crashes. We hope this bike makes someone equally as happy, as my wife’s new enduro bike needs room to breathe in the garage... Full OEM specs and geometry can be found here: https://www.specialized.com/us/en/safire-comp/p/35149?color=&searchText=9329-4102 Bicycle Blue Book values the bike in “very good” condition without upgrades at $741-764. https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/value-guide/product/3046962/ Here’s a full list of upgrades, recent service history, and extras: RockShox Reverb 125mm Dropper Post Chromag FU40 Riser Bars, 780mm wide Chromag 60mm Ranger Stem Ergon GE1 Grips First Gen SRAM Guide RSC Brakes with Kool-Stop Finned Pads and 180mm Rotors F/R Maxxis Highroller 2.35” tires F/R with tubes Water bottle cage Mud Guard Fork and Shock were rebuilt this past winter and are still buttery smooth (maybe 8-12 rides?) Brakes bled this past winter Dropper was rebuilt and bled over the winter Rear brake lever replaced this September (due to stickiness that popped up recently) Rear hub overhauled in September Headset Bearings replaced in September New Bottom Bracket installed in September All of the above work plus a full tune-up was performed by LifeCycle Bikes in Eugene. No rides since the September service so the bike is fresh and ready to go. Extras: We can throw in a set of old, white flat pedals for FREE which were OEM from another bike; the bearings are rough but if you are in a pinch they will work. For $50 we will include the blue anodized Spank Spike pedals that my wife bought as an upgrade. The pedals are burly and grippy if you plan to ride flats, and will be good for a season or two before needing fresh bearings. We have 2 Maxxis Ardent 2.4” tires with some life left in them (?) as well as a beefy Maxxis free ride tube. We can include those for FREE if you wish. Payment via PayPal: $900 for the bike & shipping. $950 for bike, Spank pedals, & shipping. $850 for the bike only (local pickup; cash is fine) Shipping: Professionally packaged and shipped from the bike shop. Message us with any questions. Thanks!
