Whistler Bike Park Phat Wednesday - Race 4

Hard to believe we are already four races into the season. By now, the excuse of being rusty (or your bike being rusty) is long gone - it's open season for bike racing. New faces are popping up every week and with that, we are seeing a more and more stacked field. Of course, the usual suspects are still in play, but the depth of the field is increasing.

Dropping into last night's action, we were treated to the best conditions of the season so far. After raining all weekend and into this week it looked like we were going to be in for another slop-fest, but the rains held off long enough for the majority of the moisture to be sucked out of the trails leaving us with a perfect track of that good sh%t. The course had doubles and sneaky lines, but even the best sniper would lose time if they didn't hold it together on the loose corners between trails. Riders let it all hang out on Funshine Rolly Drops -> Smoke and Mirrors -> Blueseum -> Wednesday Night Delight -> B-Line.

A little pedal before dropping into the last section of trails kept everyone honest...and out of breath.
