Its a heavily modified bmx, the frame is cut down to the bare essentials and then better braces and an axel welded in along with welding in a seat
a green machine is nothing like these. Green machines are rear wheel steer. Green machines are only good for doing 180s. Try do this stuff on a green machine and you will die
u guys hyave any plans or something on how to make em to show me? would love to have one. got so many hills here in san fran
yeah it would be awesome. No we just went with what we thought would be right, Just experiment. The one we put the least thought into is the best one I think ha.
Some things to think about though when building:
-Overall length, changes how the trike handles
-Head angle, changes how the trike steers
-trike width, anything wider than a metre is overkill
-if it is too long, the trike will be lazy and won't drift easily, too short and it will be twitchy and hard to control. same goes for the head angle

so any measurements around something that i should follow? dont want to flip over going like 40 down thoose hills
I'd go exactly a meter for axel width, not including wheels. They have so little traction they are impossible to flip on tarmac. as for length, just go witht he original length of the BMX works pretty well
We made them ourselves. They are bmx's cut in half, an axel welding onto the back, a seat welded on.
Its a bit of work but its heaps fun

where do you get the plastic wheels? ive been thinking of using abs pipe, but i dont know how to attach it to the trike.
