Pretty sweet dude, was a bit shit watching it on my laggy school laptop, I'll watch it again when I get home. Could just be my shitty school latop, but from what I can see, you might need to run a higher shutter speed to counter the motion blur.

Thanks DD, Let me know cause it looks alright on my computer. Think your correct about the shutter though, looked back at some other footage and 100 - 200 was sharper, have to remember that when I'm shooting.

For anything action sports, I advise as high a shutter speed as possible.
Was a lot better and smoother on my PC, but still a fair bit of motion blur.
I dig some of those angles, but for the tracking shots, don't be afraid to work with the zoom heaps.
Also helps for those longer tracks shots, to strand at the bottom of the section of the track, and use the tripid (pending it's fluid-head equiped) and use it to track the rider through a section. Makes for much smoother tracking and generally much more comfortable to film, especially when you're up on the hill the whole day.
Putting all that aside, edit was pretty good, just those few minor things, maybe some interviews, aswell as letting us all know how the top 3 (at the very least, if noty top 5 considering we have such great talent in NSW) placed, interview with top 3 riders, and a different song.

Thanks for taking the time for that man. I filmed most of this with a 50mm prime so couldn't zoom. All the angle's come from running the camera on a home made Fig Rig, it's easier than a tripod to carry but it's hard to use zoom and focus. I would like to do interveiws but I feel a little silly asking, something i will need to get over. All good advice I can take on board without having to change much in my shooting methods. Cheers for that Ty.

Ahhh that explains it, thought you were on a prosumer set-up of some sort. Great edit for the equipment you had to work with, keep at it!
