Very great, but if you want even more stability (see how the camera shakes a little?) I've seen the professional ones have like... spinning bicycle wheels LOL that somehow attach to the cable, so they spin. It uses centrifugal force to stop the shaking, but of course that's more cost and time and effort and you need more space for it to work. Just a thought.

yeah this was just a quick rig.. i already have a new design that i'm going to work on that eliminates this problem as well as solving other ones.

the bearings on this are super cheap hardware store $2 ones.

What camera did you use it with? I have thought about making a quick one for my GoPro, and it would be easy, but I'm having trouble thinking of a way to effectively do it with my Canon.

That was sick!! Was it easy to make/install when you were ready to film?

super easy... i'm actually considering getting the parts custom CNC'd so I can sell a cheap kit as I searched online and could not find anything like this.... setup on the mountain was like 10 minutes.. clean up like 5.

damn! what are you using as line? its pretty short on shortish shots like this, but once your up in the tree trying to tie a boline with one hand and hugging the tree with the other and your legs, it gets hard. are you using a come-a-long at the bottom? really helps quicked the process and you can tighten or loosen the line easily too
