Pouring water on a hot disc is not a good idea. The sudden change in temperature can deform the metal and worse still, cause it to crack. If you listen carefully to this video you can hear the discs doing just that.

That's the whole reason i did it 
Its my Hardtail so don't care about the disc on it, there already pretty f*cked, just thought i'd make it worse
