It's great to see an edit from Eric Carter. Back when I was still riding $150 Mongoose hardtail, I got to watch him ride his Mongoose DH bike (read Turner DHR with mongoose branding) at Big Bear before the restrictions. I am really interested in the new Hyper as one of the few 6 & 6 bikes that are low, slack, and have sub 17" chainstays.
