It's a pump track... So you should be able to get round the track with no pedal strokes, just by using your body motion...

well u not going fast nuff i think give bmx pedals for a reshon. i been on pump traks i use do bmx raceing i have a haro.

Yeah but I was working on technique not speed... The speed comes with the correct technique and skills instead of being a pedalling passenger.. But as a BMX racer you'd know that already of course...

Everyone knows that's a recipe for washing out man, outside foot down until you're past the apex, then you can pedal to the next rhythm section, and that's if you are training for flow and cadence, I was practicing pumping ready to work on my manuals... Time is too precious to waste with aimless exercise.

And only being a 2 minute pedal from my house makes it even better!

I just knew it'd be right by your house. All cool places seem to be right near you lol

Hahahaha do I sense jealousy there? It is the best place to live ever but remember you have hammers just about on your doorstep that you can uplift at, whereas if tomorrows forecast is truthful I will be hitting a track on the DH bike that is only 5 minutes from my house but that takes forever to push up to lol pros and cons Wink

Jealous who me! Possibly just a tiny bit lol. True Hammers is only 30-40 mins drive away. Lucky you getting to ride tomorrow, while I'm back at work. At least I only have a 10 min bike ride to my work where you have a 30 mile drive, I beat you on that one haha

Work? What's work? Haha ignoring that fact until Sunday night!! Bet the weather comes good from Mon and all!!

I'm hoping the weather is going to be fine on Sunday. Going to either Glentress or Inners. A lot of GT is closed at the moment, because of fallen trees I believe, so it's looking more likely that it will be inners

Heard Spooky Wood was shut initially, have they got that cleared yet? The storm damage out on trails is incredible, you have to see it to believe it, round here has had it bad on the natural trails.

Still blocked so far as I'm aware. I went up to Kielder just before xmas and there were a couple of sections closed due to fallen trees. Then further up 4 big trees had recently fallen down that we had to climb over. Hammers was still fine on Monday tho.
