Does that pulley noise go away in the big ring when yo have the suspension compressed? What 40 ring did you use for this 11-40 cassette? Edit. Creeped around and found pics of the adapter. I was thinking about this same thing a few days ago.

it sounds really loud on the vid ,
but yes there is some noise when the mech is streched out, cant remember for sure but think this was taken while I was using an old scrap chain to mess with to find the best length. seems much quieter now with a good chain.
This has a 10 speed XT ring fitted from a 2x10 setup

I got a XTR 9 speed 970 CASSETTE 970 12/34 I thinking putting a 36 chainring on that adapter would it work and I also using 26-36-48 chainrings rear mech is a XTR shadow 9 speed i would you suggest I should do ?

Put a 104 BCD chainring against the back of your cassette to check that the bolts will not foul the back of the cassette, this is the biggest issue you may come across.
you must have a long cage RD for a 3x setup, should be no problem
the difference between 32 and 34 on the back is not great, 36 or 38 would make a better "bailout" gear.
the main reason for the extender would be to convert to a 1x setup and loose all the front shifting kit.
if you intend on keeping the 3x there does not seem to be any good reason to extend the range of the cassette really?

SRAM triggers and twistshift are the same in terms of cable pull,
