So YT are teasing the new 2022 Capra with a silhouette of the new bike:

Seems like it's a mullet!

And room for a 700ml water bottle?

And not very slack?

And similar to a Nukepproof Mega?

Looks slightly slacker and slightly steeper seat. shock angle has changed

Not what i was expecting, I was thinking they would lengthen and slacken the whole thing out to compete with the nukeproof giga/ speciailized enduro/ RM slayer/ etc. Idk why that head angle looks so steep, maybe the actual measurement is different. Excited to see it anyway.

Hmm wonder what time they are dropping it? Would've guessed 12AM PST as it's 9AM in Germany but nothing so far.

My personal wish list: 29/27.5 mullet option, 170/170 travel, 63.5/64 adjustable HTA, +2 deg steeper ESTA (77ish), short offset fork, 40mm stem, 475 reach 440/445 chainstay, room for at least 600ml Thirstmaster.

If it somehow hits most of those I might buy immediately, should be able to count on getting good money for my 2019 Jeffsy Pro Race in the current used market.

Hyped for this. Seems the fork might be stuck into its travel somewhat which will effect how the geo appears

Looking at that fork that’s far from 170

Haha yep I was pretty close! It has the shorter offset fork but they are doing a 50mm stem (no big deal, easy/cheap to swap), I do wish the large was a touch longer reach/chainstay... I thought about the XL with a 35mm stem but the seat tube is too long for a >150mm dropper for my legs.

Debating putting a deposit on a Core 4 MX... but given YT's track record and current state of bike industry supply chain I bet it's even later than that.
