be different! try a vivid. dont get a proven racing shock (dhx) that almost everyone uses because they know it works and performs. Vivid could possibly out perform the dhx.

I hear a vivid on the V10 is good, check out Elka at elkasuspension.com I believe, if not just Google Elka suspension. Those are pretty new, and more adjustable than the DHX 5.0, and they come from an amazing history in powersports so they ought to be good....

Its because i got a deal on a vivid.
I know that the Elka suspension are great, but very expensive if i remember( like 550$) SAme thing for Double barrel. My choice are limited to vivid ad dhx 5, but you says that vivid are better??

DHX 5 is the more popular shock, only because it's been out longer. I've heard nothing but great things about the Vivid.

What about the Marzocchi Roco WC? I've never seen one of those on a V-10, but I've seen some on Nomad's and VP-Free's and they worked out pretty good. I've ridden one on a Sinister R9 and it was really plush and progressive even when mounted in the medium firmness mounting posistion.
