It's mostly because the frame. The cromo p. frames are soooo heavy!

True that. But really depends on the build. My P1 has been sub 30 for quite a while without a good deal of weight weenie parts. It's like a standard build at around 28lbs. All you gotta do to loose weight on them is getting rid of the stock heavy poo components on them.

I paid $1000 but thats like cost so im thinking retail is around 1500-1600

Haha I want a picture of the bike with cider blocks taped to it and hanging on the scale, and I'll photoshop it so it says 30.49lbs... Win

fail- rattsl(i think thats his name) weighed his P frame at over 7 pounds, that not even moderately light, its a beast.
only the steel are heavy. my aluminum is a 4.5 lb frame. hey i didnt notice that comment on the top of this page or the last one my bad.
