alxto - did you clean the new rotor with alchohol of the rubbinz kind? new ones always have a bit of oils etc from manufacture...i have been hornswaggled with that before and ended up with a real whodunnit on my hands .
have a first gen lyrik solo air the ones thats dificult to make it 170 because of the strange saft, no travel spacer*. a frien of mine as a 2012 dual air modified to 150/180 (in theory) cartridge to sell is it possible to instal on my oldy version? if yes should change the oil amount or keep the standart quantities. dont pretend to use on 180 but on 170 max.

pretty specific q...might have to tear them both down measure / compare...see if it will work.
yap maybe thats the only way have made a service 2 weeks ago, was avoiding to tear the thing apart again. have the idea that the new lower shaft is thicker than the old one

I feel ya... serviced a set of lyrics a bit ago... now there is rebound click on air side... have all parts to change to U-turn coil... feeling a bit lazy since it still works great ...and unsure if will totally dig the coil.....

Feels like my lyric coil rc2dh ramps up stiffness too quick, the first 2 inches is smooth but then she gets real hard quick. it was bucking me off my line in fernie this weekend and I wiped pretty good. new rebuild, and seals/ oil. Seems that adjusting low speed compression is not helping too much. Rebound set to quick. Have med spring and I'm 170pnds.
Any suggestions? trying not biff too hard this steazzon.

(Comparing to my friend's air fox forks)
Does it feel like hydro lock? Too much 5wt, or in the wrong leg, maybe?
I've heard this before. But when I try to assemble the lowers while fully or semi compressed, then there is some of negative pressure in there which prevents the fork from fully extending. So instead of 180 (totem) I have something like 150.
