exactly what I was trying to say. it's just a shame how some people don't listen until another person agrees

faux bar does NOT pedal great...
It does with the right shock, but anything pedals well with the right shock.
no, faux bar pedals horribly. that's why maestro and VPP are so well-like because of their genius design that has zero pedal bob

same with full floater it as no pedal bob

exactly. the full floating BB created by the evo link that trek uses is the same thing the the maestro does. both the evo link and maestro create a full floating BB.

Dunno about smaller travel bikes but vpp on dh size bikes isn't the best pedaling thing in the world. It's nice on flats but never really that great.

BTW. If you want a good pedaling susp system just learn to pedal instead of hitting pedals with full force all the time. I have an xc fully that acording to your all e-specialist bulshit should pedal like crap yet I have very little feedback becasue I pedal smoothly.

not worth wasting a new thread. Any thoughts or opinions on the '09 Kona Stinky 6?

You are talking about a 9.5-10 inches travel DH bike with like 3 inches of sag OF COURSE you are going to have bob, but it is very minimal.

do you like the more trail like- dh and freeride or more controlled djs?

This has 5 inches of travel and ive used it for downhill, dirtjumping, sometimes even street when my bmx is broke, and sometimes just normal trails and have had no problems with it, the only thing ive had to do performance wise was change the front drivetrain to single ring and put on a chainguide but pretty much everyone does that to their bike here anyways.Smile They also make this bike in 5 inches of travel in coil or air or 7 inches of travel in coil or air so you have a choice in what type of suspension you like too.

Trek Remedy.....trust me...I have it's younger sibling the Fuel EX and the suspension is the best you can ask for.
