Believe it or not but the test for being a cop is pretty tough, the running part mainly.

You need to do 6 laps in 9 minutes around the track.
About 1:30 each lap try doing that at school its alot harder than you think.

Go try it and let me know how it goes.

Lets not shoot the messenger! Our teacher just told us that the police in England have to do that, it may be different in Canada.

Ha.... I ran a 7.5 in grade 9 at 270 pounds and out of shape. I am not sure what I would get now, but if I had to guess. it would be a 10 or 11.

it all depends on the distance, i know that in my gym class it was like 1.87ish meters less than it is suppost to be ( my school needed to run it that way so enough people would fit) it only went to 20 and i beat it... we ran the real distance with my team at practice and i got 18.5 ( but that was with cleats)

Last semester in gym class, I did it three times.
first: level 12.5
second: level 13.5
third: 14

This is a killer test, takes a lot of endurance and determination to keep running.
