yeah when you land on stuff like that you need to bend your knees as you land, and move your weight back like a manual. since your weight is going forward you shouldnt be able to actually lift the front end up but itll stop you from getting too closely acquainted with your stem. from what i saw your legs were dead straight the whole time, which is bad for your bike, your face (as you found out) and in the long term can cause damage to your knee.
