MTX33s are overkill and kinda heavy. They'll last though.

Hey guys, someones trying to tell me this fork is an rct but I can clearly see it is a 409 with rct stickers, hes pretty convinced its an rct too. can someone confirm this? or is it some weird hybrid with 409 lowers?

It's an rct with 409 lowers from the looks of it (not that the lowers are different, just it has a maxle not the maxle light) but definitely rct uppers, internals

K thats exactly what I thought, but the kid still thinks that its a complete 2011 rockshox rct in purple I even suggested that It could be a rct with 409 lowers but he is still trying to convince me it is a factory 2011 rockshox rct in purple (it doesnt even come in purple). Obviously i know the lowers dont make a difference since theyre all the same, I even pointed out that it says 409 on the lowers but he wont even acknowledge that, oh well. Is there anything I can do to prove my point?

how are those tyres working for you? i was very tempted to get them but they are xc tyres and i was told i'd just pintch flat them all the time

Pinch flats shouldn't be a problem if you're running high pressures
