what shock do you got on there... if its a vivid i got a pretty good setting that work with glory/faith, found it on the internet and it make the bike alot more alive.... a good bike with a bad shock setting will suck, a good bike with a good shock setting will work like a dream

i was having a hard time setting my rear shock but with that setting its a whole new bike

btw: 5/6 compression, 5/6 ending rebound, 9/16 begining rebound

Those settings are pretty close to what I use on my reignX. It's a good starting setup for anything with longer travel maestro.

yes it is

So frustrated with the Reign right now. Not even sure why giant put ISCG tabs on the reign. None of the chain guides will clock correctly to work unless you are running a 36t sprocket or larger. The tabs are about 15mm off counter clockwise. Then the braniacs at Giant decided to tell me the 2013 ReignX has ISCG05 tabs. Seeing how my buddies ISCG chain guide bolted up to it i would think thats impossible. Also measured the bolt holes which are 47mm center to center. While my Giant rides great this would actually cause me to not buy another one. my first and last.

Get a narrow wide chainring. No need for a guide. Problem solved.

sounds like you're setting it up wrong... i've seen plenty of reigns with guides mounted fine. If giant somehow welded it wrong then they should warranty it.

Not my first chain guide i have set up. The problem is there is no way you could clock the guide correctly. i maxed out the guide and it hits the chain stays on the rear. The top bolt hole on the ISCG mount should be 13mm forward of the seat tube. They have it dead center on the seat tube. They did this because of the chain stay placement. The problem is you can not clock the guide correctly. I have seen many reigns online also. They are set up incorrectly. With a large enough chain ring larger than 36 is will work anything smaller you mine as well not install it. I will see if i can post the pics i sent to giant.

This is a 32-36 e thirteen lg1 guide. 32t Narrow wide RF chain ring, it is clocked as far forward as it can without hitting the rear chain stay. Like this at full travel it can hit the upper guide. Its not right and giant says its fine. I got it a little better by adjusting the taco more but still has issues with the upper guide and hitting the chain stay with the lower guide.

Here she is all set for the bike parks different fork, minion tires different spring rate on the rear shock. no dropper post (broke my dropper in a crash previous year so now i just remove it. lol) Was going to install a chain guide now i may just install a bash and hope for no derails.

I have to drill my blackspire to extend the range closer to the chainstay. And runs only 2 bolts.

And one of the ISCG bracket is not even drilled thru, I've to cut my bolt to install it.

have you tried any other guides?

I've had fit issues with e13 stuff before.

E13 MRP, Blackspire,

I have the exact same bike as you, and have the exact same problem. I contacted MRP after purchasing my G3, and they told me (since they are the only chain device supplier for Giant) that MRP makes custom guides for all Giant bikes, as none of their ISCG tabs, positions are "standard."
