I run 823s on Hadleys laced with DT Swiss Competition spokes and havent had any problems, still perfectly true.

DT champion, go for the triple butted ones.

The Champion is just the regular straight gage, competition is the Double butted, Super Comp and Alpine III are the triple butted.

My backyard. Well, sorta. Anyway, 823 is a good rim, even out here.

I remember trashing a couple of 823's (the older ones though) within a few months.
Also destroyed 3 721's at Fort William in 2 weeks!

I currently like the WTB DH rims, they seem pretty strong.

I dont know if someone already said this but Im waay too lazy to check...
If your seeiriously not at all worried about weight then I heard of theese DT swiss 440 things and there like a different kind of rim.. but take one look at them and ull be suuure it will neever break.
I think its made by TAG wheels..

kk thats what ill do,i think my problem is that i do too mutch big whips and i land on side ways

That will DEFINETELY do it... that will pretty much mess up any rim. Just learn to bring those whips back!

bender used DRXs for the jah drop so they must be strong (they didn't break or bend or anything) but I know that 729s are strong and that's why I love mine! strongest rim for the weight I think

Correction , DHX'S or Arrow Racing Dhx's. Just thought id correct you lol.

they are not the strongest rim ever but wtb dual duty fr are strong. the rear one too a 12' over shot landing and only got a 2mm flat spot. the front is still true. theyre a good bang for your buck rim.

O+

Yeah, I'm wondering how good a hub-manufacturing company will cope with rims..

Syncros DPS32's anyone? I see a lot of dh/fr riders riding them...
