often cranks have a little metal thing sticking out of them, that goes into a gap oin the sprocket. if this gap is not lined up, then it will slip.

edit - or, the sprocket is the wrong size.

Lock tight the bitch. Sometimes tho the sprocket hole is just to worn so if you have more holes rotate it.

Are you using the correct spindle adaptor? Should help it to sit concentrically and prevent that dreaded tight spot

no one runs carbon cranks on a bmx mate.. they are just not reliable.

well correct, I was not specific. What I was meaning is that street and park racers do not run carbon, due to grinding, and whatnot, you would just destroy them. But yes, racers do run them with their full carbon bikes and so on.

i see, sorry, I was assuming it was for park/street use. For racing cranks, look into box components, they have some carbon bmx cranks, I've never ran them, but i have heard of them.
